ReviewStream (Get Paid to Review) Discussion

In ReviewStream, you can review on anything and get paid with regular rate or bulk rate for each review. Current regular rate is USD2.00 and the bulk rate is 1/5 of the regular rate, which is USD0.40. Yes, you can review on anything from the given 61 categories with one of them is Other, which does not fall in any category. For example, the food you eat, the shop you visit, the movie you watch, the clothes you buy, etc.
What ReviewStream want is your opinion and personal feeling on the item (not being published anywhere). Such valuable details can assist others in making decision if to go for the items or not. In summary, you write review and Reviewstream will evaluate if they want buy it from you. Good review that match all of the criteria will be paid at regular rate. If the review does not match some of the criteria and you have agreed to pay at bulk rate, they will pay you the bulk rate. Otherwise, it will be rejected.
I had written 9 reviews so far with confirmation of 7 reviews. I try to be more specific and describe my personal feelings on each item I review (this is the suggestion given by ReviewStream on each review confirmation) but I still receive bulk rate on some of my reviews. What’re their criteria?
This discussion is opened to all ReviewStream users to post their reviews with the review rate they received so that we can come out with the criteria on how they pay for each review. All users are recommended to vote for the published reviews if you like the review.

MY REVIEWSHere’s my review results. All of my reviews in Airlines category were paid in regular rate. So far, my reviews in Movies and Games were paid in bulk rate. I cannot make assumption that all reviews are paid in bulk rate in those categories but I believe there’s some criteria to meet in order to get the regular rate. I ever saw some review in Games that they rate the game in many section (graphic, sound, value) but I’m not sure if they are getting paid in regular rate. Let’s find out.

It took 6 days to receive the confirmation of this review. I expected to be paid in bulk rate for this review. Thinking of trying to write a movie review in different way if they will pay in regular rate. Will keep you all updated.

I was very specific in reviewing this game in this review with total words of 542. Quite disappointed that it will still being paid USD0.40. Can I make an assumption that all reviews in Game category will be paid in bulk rate? Please post your reviews if you are being paid in regular rate for reviews in GAME category. I’ll try other approach and post my results here.

Wrote a review on restaurant for the first time. Heard from other users that most reviews in restaurants will be paid in regular rate. I think they don’t like those categorization with rating - will try again to write as in normal essay. This type of format does not work!

Do you have any electronic items in house or office which you can review? Reviewed another 2 electronic items (Maxview CRT Monitor and APC Back-ups UPS) but the APC Back-ups UPS was being categorised as Hardware instead of Electronics. Both of them are being paid in regular rate. Another review was written about a restaurant. Review Stream support mentions that reviews in food, games, movies, etc will be paid in bulk rate in MOST cases but it may also depends on the current market condition on the items.

My first submission on this review was being rejected. I tried to read my review description (perhaps, I wrote too much about us rather than the Amusement World itself). I re-wrote the review and submitted again. I suprised that it was being paid at the full rate. Don’t give up if your reviews are being rejected.

Another 3 more regular rate reviews (Perfume, Housewares). Noticed that ReviewStream will re-categorise the item to the appropriate category if it was set to wrong or non-appropriate category upon submission. That’s great.
